Date & Time of Incident: October 25, 2015 at 21:53 hrs.

Location of Incident: 1224 Kennsington Dr.

Brief Description:

The Findlay Police Dept., as well as the Findlay Fire Dept. and Hanco EMS, was dispatched to the report of a female on fire in the front yard of 1224 Kennsington Dr. Sunday night. Upon the arrival of emergency crews, the female had left the scene and later sought transport to Blanchard Valley Hospital by private vehicle.  The fire started in the garage and was contained to the interior of the residence, except for a car in the driveway.  The car was parked close to the garage and sustained moderate fire damage.

The victim is identified as Lynn M. Zona, age 40, from Findlay.  She was critically injured by burns and was transported to the burn unit at Mercy St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Toledo by LifeFlight helicopter.  Her current condition is not being reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.  The damage estimate is yet to be determined.
