Location of Incident: 231 E. Foulke Ave, Apt. 2, Findlay

Brief Description: 


Findlay Police received a call reporting that a male was shot at 231 E. Foulke Ave. Officers arrived and entered apartment #2 through an open door. A male was found deceased inside of that residence with a suspected gunshot wound. The man was the only person there when police arrived. The man’s identity is not being released pending notification of his next of kin. The man’s body will be transported to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy.

Findlay Police is investigating the incident and no arrests have been made. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Findlay Police at 419-424-7150 or the Hancock County Crime Stoppers at 419-425-8477.

Update – November 27, 2017 @ 16:00

The victim in this incident has been identified as 42 year old Brian A. McQuistion. McQuistion lived at the residence on E. Foulke Ave. An autopsy occurred today at the Lucas County Coroner’s Office. McQuistion was shot once in the head. Police had a report that a pedestrian heard the sound of a gunshot in the area of E. Foulke Ave. approximately two hours before McQuistion was found by an acquaintance. Police checked the area at the time, but did not locate anything suspicious.

Police continue to investigate the incident and no suspect has been identified. Police continue to urge anyone with information to contact the Findlay Police at 419-424-7150 or the Hancock County Crime Stoppers at 419-425-8477. Tips to crime stoppers can remain anonymous and a reward could be issued if the tip leads to an arrest.
