Tyler Waldbauer Promoted to Findlay Police Sergeant

The Findlay Police Department recently promoted Officer Tyler Waldbauer to the position of Patrol Sergeant.  Sgt. Waldbauer was sworn in by Mayor Lydia Mihalik at the Findlay Municipal Building on Monday, August 28, 2017.

Sergeant Waldbauer began his career with the Findlay Police Department 11 years ago.  He was hired as a full time Police Officer in 2006, and has been assigned to the Patrol Division.

Waldbauer has served as a Field Training Officer since 2011, and has served on the Emergency Response Team since 2010.

Waldbauer is a graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, and Owens Community College.  He earned an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice.

Sgt. Waldbauer and his wife, Amanda, have a daughter and a son, Audrey and James.
