Post Date:12/20/2018 1:00 PM

The City of Findlay presented Jeremy Kalb, Engineering Project Manager with the Engineering Department, with the John Edward Seman Award for Employee Excellence on December 20, 2018. Kalb began his career with the City of Findlay in 2015 as the Engineering Project Manager for the Engineering Department. He is an exemplary member of the Engineering team. He is always working to improve communication regarding current projects within the department, to other departments, and to the public. Kalb manages numerous projects including street resurfacing, installation of new water/sewer lines, building construction/renovations, as well as emergency projects as they arise. He has tackled the impossible challenge of coordinating the Downtown project with tact and professionalism. He has continually worked to bridge the needs of the project and the desires of the business owners to make the best of the situation. Kalb is always willing to take calls from the public and listen even if there is little he can do to solve their concern. His attitude is always pleasant and he is there to help no matter what you need. He has also developed a good working relationship with area contractors which promotes Findlay as an ideal place to do contract work. Whether it is coordinating with Water, Sewer, or Street departments or staying late to push out the next project, Jeremy can always be counted on.
