No Parking after 2” or more snowfall

Post Date:01/18/2019 2:30 PM

The City of Findlay would like to remind residents that certain streets are designated No Parking when we receive over 2 inches of snow. These streets are as follows:

Allen Ave. and Garfield Ave. from Main St. to the dead end at the railroad tracks
Beech St. from E. Lima St. to Hancock St.
Clinton St. from Pine Ave. to Walnut St.
Garfield from Main Street to the railroad tracks
N. Main St. from Center St. to E. Bigelow Ave., both sides of the road
S. Main St. from Lima Ave. to Sixth St., both sides of the road
Third St. from Main St. to the dead end at the railroad tracks, south side of the road

All of these streets have signs designating them as No Parking Over 2” of Snow. Vehicles will be towed if parked on these streets.

Residents who do not live on the above mentioned streets are encouraged, if possible, to not park on City streets to allow the snow plows to adequately and efficiently clear streets and parking lanes of snow. If your car remains on the street during plowing of snow, the City is not responsible for clearing the snow from around your vehicle after the plows have cleared the street.
