Blanchard Street Lane Closure - June 11
Starting Tuesday June 11th, the two northbound lanes of S. Blanchard Street, between the blocks of Sandusky Street and Wyandot Street, will be closed to all traffic during the installation of a new water main. During the closure the southbound lanes of S. Blanchard Street will serve as the travel lanes for both northbound and southbound traffic. The southbound inside lane will be for northbound traffic and the curb lane will serve as southbound traffic. Within these blocks of S. Blanchard St. there will only be one lane of traffic for northbound and southbound traffic. Southbound traffic on S. Blanchard Street will be prohibited to turn eastbound onto E. Sandusky Street. No Left Turn onto E. Sandusky will be in effect until the work zone is removed from the area. Residents and business within the area will still have access to their respective drives, but will experience some delays when crews are working in front of the property. The contractor and the City will communicate with the residents and the business if any driveway restrictions are foreseen. It is estimated that this section of S. Blanchard Street will be restricted for 4-5 weeks, pending weather and contractor schedule. If you have any questions concerning the project please feel free to contact the City of Findlay Engineering Department. Please stay tuned for any updates concerning the S. Blanchard Street Waterline Project.
