Construction Project Update Week of June 24, 2019

The City of Findlay is performing numerous construction projects throughout the city, weather and contractor schedule permitting for the status of some of the projects. Listed below are some of the projects and the restrictions that result from the ongoing projects. These restrictions are in effect from June 24, 2019,-June 28, 2019.

SUMMIT STREET- Lima Ave. to Lima St. - Will be closed to through traffic for asphalt milling and repaving.

HURD AVENUE- Lima Ave. to Stadium Dr. - Will be closed to through traffic for asphalt milling and repaving.

S. BLANCHARD STREET – Sandusky St. to Wyandot St. – Starting Tuesday June 11th, the two northbound lanes of S. Blanchard Street will be closed to all traffic. During the closure the southbound lanes of S. Blanchard Street will serve as the travel lanes for both northbound and southbound traffic. Southbound traffic on S. Blanchard St. will also be prohibited to turn eastbound onto E. Sandusky Street. Residents and business within the area will still have access to their respective drives, but will experience some delays when crews are working in front of the property.

Avoid these blocks if possible. Short delays are expected in these areas over the next week.
