Construction Project Update July 4-12
The City of Findlay is performing numerous construction projects throughout the city. Weather and contractor schedule permitting for the status of some of the projects. Listed below are some of the projects and the restrictions that result from the ongoing projects. These restrictions are in effect from July 4, 2019 to July 12, 2019.
MAPLE AVENUE- Seventh St. to Fairlawn Pl. - Will be closed to through traffic for sanitary sewer repairs.
FOX STREET- Frazer St. to Trenton Ave. - Will be closed to through traffic for asphalt paving.
S. BLANCHARD STREET – Sandusky St. to South St. – The two northbound lanes of S. Blanchard Street will be closed to all traffic. During the closure the southbound lanes of S. Blanchard Street will serve as the travel lanes for both northbound and southbound traffic. Southbound traffic on S. Blanchard St. will also be prohibited to turn eastbound onto E. Sandusky Street. Residents and business within the area will still have access to their respective drives, but will experience some delays when crews are working in front of the property.
S. BLANCHARD STREET & LINCOLN STREET INTERSECTION – The intersection of Blanchard St. and Lincoln St will be closed to all traffic at all times, for waterline installation starting on Monday July 8th and lasting until July 26th. A detour will be set up to help direct traffic around the closure.
Avoid these blocks if possible. Short delays are expected in these areas over the next week.
