Public Meeting: Lincoln and Blanchard Street Projects

Lincoln Street Multi-Use Path and Blanchard Street Lane Reconfiguration

Post Date:08/05/2019 3:36 PM

The City of Findlay will be holding an open house public meeting for the proposed multi-use path on Lincoln Street and the proposed lane configuration changes for Blanchard Street. The open house is scheduled for August 21, 2019, in Council Chambers (first floor of Municipal Building) from 6pm to 7:30pm.

The purpose of the open house is to allow the City to provide information on the project to anyone interested and to allow all interested citizens to ask questions either orally or via comment sheet.

On Lincoln Street, the proposed project will include widening of the existing sidewalk on the north side of the roadway to serve as a multi-use path. On Blanchard Street, the project will include paving and restriping (from 6th Street to Tiffin Avenue) to allow for the addition of a center double left turn lane, bicycle lanes on both sides of the road, addition of dedicated left turn lanes at Lincoln Street and Sandusky Street, upgrading pedestrian ramps and traffic signal upgrades.

Anyone wishing to submit comments concerning the Lincoln and Blanchard Street project may do so by presenting the attached comment form at the meeting, by mailing it to the City of Findlay, Engineering Department, 318 Dorney Plaza, Room 304, Findlay, Ohio 45840 or by emailing it to engineering@findlayohio.com. A digital copy of the comment sheet can be filled out on the City’s website at www.findlayohio.com/community-input. The final date for submission of comments is September 6, 2019.
