Findlay/Hancock County Housing Survey
Hancock Regional Planning Commission (HRPC) is currently completing a housing market study for Findlay and Hancock County, in partnership with the City of Findlay, The Community Foundation, The University of Findlay Center for Civic Engagement Housing Coalition, DiSalvo Development Advisors and The Greater Ohio Policy Center. The Housing Study will look at both rental and single family markets and will identify market-supported development opportunities among all housing types and price points throughout Hancock County
There have been housing studies completed in the past, but this is the first countywide market study to assess opportunities to improve the housing situation among all residents and local workers. Additionally, the Greater Ohio Policy Center will provide policy recommendations related to clearly defined housing issues, so that the public and private sectors can work together to address our regions housing needs.
As part of the study, we are conducting a survey to better understand the housing needs and preferences of our community for those who live here, or want to live here. We are reaching out to citizens to take this 5-minute survey. We encourage those who work or live in Hancock County to complete the survey.
The survey will be available to take online until February 25th.
Please contact HRPC at 419-424-7094 if you have any questions.
