Road Construction-Week of March 21-27, 2020
The City of Findlay is performing numerous construction projects throughout the city, weather and contractor schedule permitting the status of some of the projects. Listed below are some of the projects and the restrictions that result from the ongoing projects. These restrictions are in effect from March 21, 2020, to March 27, 2020.
HOWARD STREET-Main Street to Morey Ave. – Howard Street will be closed to through traffic from Main Street to Morey Ave. Access to the businesses and residents on Howard Street between Main Street and Morey Ave. will be maintained if no other access is available to the respective property. North/ South traffic will be maintained on Cory Street during the closure.
HOWARD STREET-Broad Ave. to Walmart Entrance. – Howard Street will be closed to through traffic from Broad Ave. to Walmart Entrance. Access to the residents on Howard Street west of Broad Ave. will be maintained.
S. BLANCHARD STREET-Sixth St. to Second Street. – The northbound lane of S. Blanchard Street will be reduced to one lane from Sixth St. to Second Street on Monday, March 23, 2020, and Tuesday, March 24, 2020.
S. BLANCHARD STREET-Blanchard Ave. to Sandusky Street. – Starting on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, the northbound lane of S. Blanchard Street will be reduced to one lane from Blanchard Ave. to Sandusky Street.
EAST SANDUSKY STREET-Chase Road to Warrington Avenue – E. Sandusky Street will be reduced to one lane between Chase Road and Warrington Avenue for gas line installation. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic around the closure.
EAST SANDUSKY STREET- Chase Road to Warrington Avenue – On Saturday March 21, 2020, East Sandusky Street will be closed to through traffic between Chase Road and Warrington Avenue for gas line installation. Flaggers and Detours will be present to direct traffic around the closure. Once the line is across E. Sandusky Street the road will open to traffic.
Avoid these blocks if possible. Short delays are expected in these areas over the next week.
