Road Construction-Week of 3/28/2020-4/3/2020

The City of Findlay is performing numerous construction projects throughout the city, weather and contractor schedule permitting the status of some of the projects. Listed below are some of the projects and the restrictions that will result from the ongoing projects. These restrictions are in effect from March 28, 2020 to April 3, 2020.

HOWARD STREET - Main Street to Bolton Street – Howard Street will be closed to through traffic from Main Street to Bolton Street. Access to the businesses and residents on Howard Street between Main Street and Bolton Street will be maintained if no other access is available to the respective property. North/south traffic will be maintained on Cory Street and Morey Avenue during the closure.

HOWARD STREET - Broad Avenue to Walmart Entrance – Howard Street will be closed to through traffic from Broad Avenue to the Walmart Entrance. Access to residents on Howard Street west of Broad Avenue will be maintained.

BROAD AVENUE - Broad Avenue and Howard Street Intersection – The intersection of Broad Avenue and Howard Street will be closed to all through traffic for waterline installation across Broad Avenue. A detour will be set up at West Main Cross and Trenton Avenue to direct traffic around the closure. The closure will be in effect from Monday, March 30, 2020, to Thursday, April 2, 2020.

SOUTH BLANCHARD STREET - Blanchard Avenue to Tiffin Avenue – Starting on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, the southbound lane of South Blanchard Street will be reduced to one lane from Blanchard Avenue to Tiffin Avenue for catch basin replacement.

Avoid these blocks if possible. Short delays are expected in these areas over the next week.  The Engineering Department will release updates on information and schedules when it becomes available. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about these projects at 419-424-7121.
