Findlay Recreation hosts the Pitch Hit & Run contest every spring at The Marathon Diamonds located in the Flag City Sports Complex, 3430 North Main Street.

Open to boys & girls ages 7-14
All participants must provide a copy of a valid birth certificate for age verification at all levels of competition
Pitch, Hit & Run provides youngsters across the country an opportunity to participate in an exciting baseball/softball skill competition.
Pitch, Hit & Run is a free program for boys and girls, ages 7-14, that gives participants the chance to showcase their pitching, hitting, and running abilities.
- Pitch - participants are tested throwing 6 balls to a designated "Strike Zone" target. Any method of throwing is permitted.
- Hit - participants hit 3 balls off a tee for distance and accuracy.
- Run - participants are timed, starting from the second base, touching third then touching home plate.
Participants compete in each of the three components and accumulate a total score using conversion tables.
Pitch, Hit & Run has four levels of competition - Local, Sectional, Team Championships, and National Finals.
