John Harrington was born and raised in Findlay and was elected to serve on city council in 2013. He has a BBA in Business and an AA in Automotive Marketing from Northwood University in Midland Michigan. He is also a graduate of the General Motors School of Merchandising and Management and Colorado Outward Bound.
John is currently a Realtor with Century 21 – Koehler & Associates. He is a member of the Findlay Rotary Club serving as Secretary. He is past President of Camp Fire Boys and Girls, Hancock Historical Museum and YMCA Indian Guides. He has served as a Division Chair for United Way of Hancock County, Chair of Gus Macker and Chair of Boogie on Broadway. He coached baseball, soccer, softball and hockey. He has also served as a board member on several local non-profits.
John and his wife Pam have three grown children and six grandchildren.
